1. Class methods

self.new(array_of_sub_blocks) → ColumnListBlock

Creates a ColumnListBlock object. Each element of array_of_sub_blocks represents the child Block or Blocks contained in one column and is converted into a ColumnBlock.

[PARAM] array_of_sub_blocks
- [Block1, Block2, ...] ... creates one column for each Block
- [[Block1a, Block1b], [Block2a, Block2b], ...] ... creates columns containing multiple Blocks
- at least two elements are required
[RETURN] ColumnListBlock
[EXCEPTION] StandardError ... raised with The column_list must have at least 2 columns. when fewer than two columns are specified

Create a column list

A ColumnListBlock must contain at least two columns. When it is created through the Notion API, each column must contain at least one child Block. Its direct children are ColumnBlock objects; other Block types cannot be appended directly.

2. Instance methods

append_block_children(*blocks, position: nil, dry_run: false)

Appends one or more ColumnBlock objects to an existing ColumnListBlock.

[PARAM] blocks ... one or more ColumnBlock objects
[KEYWORD] position ... the previous block ID, start, end, or nil
[KEYWORD] dry_run ... returns the request script without sending it when true
[RETURN] the created ColumnBlock, an Array of created Blocks, or a String when dry_run is true
[EXCEPTION] StandardError ... raised with Column list block can only append column blocks. when a non-Column Block is specified
